about

Solo Guitar

The First 5 tracks are "Meditations on the Canonical Hours" by Jim Dickson. He has included reflections on six of the "Divine Offices," or "Canonical Hours" of prayer. The reflections on Nones and Vespers are combined into a single track.

Tracks 6-11 are J.S. Bach's Lute Suite in E minor BWV 996.

Track 12 is a piece I wrote for my girlfriend when I was 19 years old. She married me, so I've continued to play the little piece for these 40 years hence. This recording is from a Faculty Recital I presented in Shortess Chapel at Columbia International University.
